 Shindig have a wealth of experience, performing for ceilidhs and barn dances, at folk festivals and a huge range of private and public events throughout the Eastern Region.

A ceilidh is a great way to celebrate, have fun, or to raise funds and have an enjoyable time in the process.

We should know - we've been doing them for over 10 years. We will provide one of the region's best bands, an excellent PA system (that can be turned down as well as up!), so you can be sure of a successful evening. A ceilidh is an excellent way of getting people to mix and to break the ice at parties.

Ceilidhs have become a very popular part  of weddings in recent years, as it allows people who may not know each other well a chance to mingle and enjoy themselves providing the perfect entertainment for your wedding celebration.

Some reaction to Shindig;

 Dear Jenny,

I just wanted to thank you again for an excellent evenings entertainment . As you could see we were a very mixed group with ages ranging from 3 to 87! Many of our new family members from Bath had never experienced such a band before and all were very impressed.
I have had many messages saying how much they enjoyed your music, with the greatest accolade coming from our son saying that prior to the event he had reservations but thought you were brilliant!!
A special thanks for the kindness shown, and inclusion of the many small children. I have had reports that the little girls are still dancing!
We would certainly highly recommend your group  -Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Jan and Jack Kelly

Dear Jenny

I am writing to you on behalf of the Civilian Committee at 222 Broadlands Squadron to thank you and the rest of the Shindig band very much for playing at our Barn Dance on Saturday 5th July 2014.

The event was a great success and we managed to raise a total of £1,284.00 profit for the squadron to go towards their adventure training camp to Ripon during the October half term.

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and got involved with plenty of dancing throughout the evening. We have many complementary comments about the band and especially your caller who made the dancing so much easier and able to follow.

"A quick email to thank you and Shindig for providing us with great entertainment last night.I hope you could tell how much our family and friends were enjoying themselves!

 Best wishes
